What we are
The Luxury Playbook is an independent editorial publication covering real estate, equities, fine assets, and private wealth for an established investor audience. Our work is practical, data-aware, and written by named specialists — not generated by an algorithm, and not ghost-authored by the firms we cover.
Why we exist
Information in the luxury investment space is fractured: auction-house results live inside auction platforms, real estate insights live inside brokerage reports, wealth strategy lives inside family-office white papers, and very little of it is written for the actual investor trying to make a decision. The Luxury Playbook was founded to close that gap — to turn niche market data into clear frameworks an experienced investor can actually use.
How we started
The Luxury Playbook was founded in 2023 in Nicosia, Cyprus, by Stefanos Moschopoulos and Savvas Agathangelou. In 2024 we were joined by Alex Tzoulis as Co-Owner and Markets Analyst. Today we publish as a small, named editorial team covering real estate, equities, crypto, fine assets, and wealth — supplemented by a short roster of invited expert contributors in adjacent specialisms.
Our editorial team
The Luxury Playbook is a small publication by design. We are three people, not twenty, and we believe that smaller teams produce more accountable reporting. You can read the full biography of each of us on Meet the Team.
- Stefanos Moschopoulos — Founder & Head of Editorial. Covers fine assets, watches, wine, art, yachting, private wealth, and alternative investments.
- Savvas Agathangelou — Co-Founder & Strategy Lead. Covers real estate across the United States, United Kingdom, Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Switzerland, and the UAE; leadership; and marketing strategy.
- Alex Tzoulis — Co-Owner & Markets Analyst. Covers equities, stock-market investing, crypto, forex, and financial-market macro.
Expert contributors
From time to time, we publish commissioned pieces from named industry professionals outside our core team — architects, hospitality strategists, former advisers. These are always attributed in full at the foot of each piece. Current named contributors include Louis Detata, Nikos S. Morantis, and Stavros Zachariades.
Our standards
We publish four documents that explain how we operate:
- Editorial Policy — how articles are researched, written, and edited; and our position on AI.
- Fact-Check Process — the six-step check every article passes through before publication.
- Corrections Policy — how we handle and publish corrections when we get something wrong.
- Ethics Policy — editorial independence, affiliate disclosure, gifts, personal financial interests.
