This page sets out how The Luxury Playbook (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit theluxuryplaybook.com or interact with our newsletter, contact form, or other services. We aim to keep this short and readable. If anything is unclear, write to connect@theluxuryplaybook.com and we will explain.

1. Who we are

The Luxury Playbook is a digital editorial publication covering real estate, equities, fine assets, and private wealth. Our editorial entity is registered in Cyprus. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

2. What we collect

Server logs. Standard request data — IP address, user-agent, requested URL, response status, timestamp — retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
Analytics. Aggregated, pseudonymous usage data via Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics (page views, country, browser, source). No personally identifying information is captured by these tools.
Newsletter subscriptions. Your email address, the date you subscribed, and the source page. Stored with our delivery provider (Beehiiv). You can unsubscribe in one click from any newsletter we send.
Contact-form submissions. The name, email address, company name, and message you provide. Used only to reply to your enquiry.

3. Cookies & similar technologies

We use a minimal set of cookies, grouped into three buckets:

Strictly necessary. Theme preference, newsletter-subscribed flag. These cannot be disabled — the site does not function without them.
Analytics. Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics. Disable via the cookie banner powered by Iubenda when you first visit the site.
None for advertising. We do not run third-party ads, retargeting pixels, or behavioural advertising on this site.

4. Third-party services we rely on

The following providers process limited data on our behalf, each under their own privacy terms:

Vercel — hosting and edge delivery (server logs, analytics).
Cloudflare R2 — image and media storage.
Neon — managed Postgres database.
Beehiiv — newsletter delivery and subscriber management.
Google Tag Manager & Analytics — anonymised usage analytics.
Iubenda — cookie consent banner and preference management.

5. How we use your information

Personal information is used only to (a) deliver the editorial product you requested (newsletter, reply to a contact-form enquiry), (b) keep the site secure and operational, and (c) improve the publication through aggregated analytics. We do not profile readers, sell data, or share contact details with third parties for marketing.

6. Your rights

If you are based in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with comparable data-protection rules, you have the right to: request a copy of any personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, request erasure, object to processing, and withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to connect@theluxuryplaybook.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

The Luxury Playbook is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use TLS encryption for every page on the site, encrypted-at-rest storage for databases and media, and standard industry practices to protect against unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Substantive changes will be flagged on this page with a fresh “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
